Using the Notes Feature on the Apple iPad

Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here. Did you ever have a thought that you absolutely had to write down? I'm going to show you some tips and tricks on how to use the Notepad function on the new Apple iPad so that it never happens to you. Let's get started. The materials we'll need are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. We start by launching Notes which is this icon over here, it looks like a legal pad, also called Notes, and comes preinstalled on the iPad. To start a new Note we have it up here, ready to go, all we have to do is tap it and up comes our keyboard. And we're typing in a new note. And if we tap it again we can Select All or Return and place anything else we want. We can hit this button down in the corner to hide the keyboard.

Another great tip is that for an important note, you should email it to yourself. Hit the email button and address it to myself and send. I've just emailed myself this note, which is telling me that the new note is a new note.

Another great tip is to get rid of things that you're not using. By hitting the Trash Can and confirming, and the note is deleted. The other thing too, is that you can do a new note by either hitting the plus button if you're on an existing note, or going down to here, and hitting New Note, which is the name of what we are now on-and begin entering information. If you need more room to type, turn the iPad sideways and you can type with both fingers.

It's a great place to pop up, jot some things down, and email off to yourself, or just to remember if you're in the food market-to remember to pick up this and that up. It's great for temporary notes, not real good for ongoing things or things that need to be archived for a long time.

So you can see it's really easy to use, and the best part is it syncs with iTunes so you can have your notes back on your main computer. Has this been helpful for you? That's what I try to do, be helpful. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying we'll stream you later.

Unboxing the iPad

Hey, it's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I couldn't be more excited because today, is iPad day. Yes, this has actually been recorded on April 3rd, 2010, we raced down to the Apple Store, we were the 1st in line, 9:00 on a Saturday, Eastern Standard Time-1 of the 1st people in the world to actually hold in their hand an iPad. And I had to wait another 1 1/2 hours to return here to the studio so we can inbox it for you. Now, without further ado, the unboxing of the brand new Apple iPad. Here she is. We'll use a screwdriver to make it a little easier, cut through the plastic, remove the plastic, and the lid.

At the beginning we have the iPad. I'm touching it for the 1st time myself, showing it to you. It's got the packing to protect it for shipping after being manufactured. It's the star of our show. What else do we have? Set into the bottom, we have documentation and a connector. This is the standard iPod/iPhone connector so Apple is using the standard connector for the iPad with a USB connector at 1 end. And there's a 10 watt power converter, the smaller one. It can also attach to a longer cord.

So between $500 and $700 dollars you get the iPad, the cable for connecting, syncing and charging it, and the wall adapter, and documentation. What more do you need? Well, you need lots of accessories and those are sold at an extra cost.

Apple iPad iBooks App & Bookstore

The new book reader is one of the coolest new functions on the Apple iPad. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert, and I'll give you some tips on how to use the book reader and iBooks on the new Apple iPad. The materials we'll need to get started are an iPad, your finger or an iPad stylus, downloading the iBooks app and an account with iTunes. To get to our books, we simply hit this icon here of the book open (clever huh) and this goes to our iBooks or our iBooks store. The interesting thing is that you're going to notice that the store is integrated in the same place that your library is. That's a little bit different because the videos in iPod, by their stuff through here and apps are bought here. This is the new generation where the program has both the store and the library built into 1.

Make sure your account is up to date because you are 1 touch away from spending money. If any one has access to your account including children, be aware that it's very easy to spend money here. Make sure that you're using a prepaid Visa card that can be bought at any service station and that keeps your spending down so there's no accidental $500 purchases. If it were attached directly to your home banking account, then getting the charges reversed is tough.

Now we can choose 1 here, let's pick a book at random. "Hungry Girl, 1-2-3," and I'm going to get the sample which is also nice since we don't have to pay for it. The book is uploaded and place in the library, and now we're ready to read it.

If you want to read a book, it opens up, and there we go. The great thing about this app, is how the pages are turned, the tip is to turn the page from the center, top or bottom. It's a great animation, especially when there are more words. I just love it.

Another good tip is that you can navigate between pages down here. Once you're touching the page, on the little indicator, and sliding it to the left and right-and you can jump between pages. If you know where your chapter is, then hit the icon in the upper corner of the page. You can also set bookmarks. Tap by holding your finger on a word, and you can set a bookmark. Let me show you how to do that. Setting bookmarks, then going here. Let's say we're down here at this concept. We're going to hold down this word, and boom, hit the Bookmark button. That is absolutely fantastic. To get back, another tip is to be able to find your way home, or 1 of my favorites is being able to being able to change the Font both by size and being able to choose something that's a little more like your personality or easier on the eyes. And you're ready to go.

With the new iPad and iBookstore it couldn't be easier to buy, store and read books. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying stream you later!

General Setup for the iPad

Hey, it's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some on setting up and getting started using your new Apple iPad. The materials you'll need are the iPad and your finger or iPad stylus.

To get things started, we're going to go to our Settings icon which looks like a set of gears and is pretty much the same for all Apple products. I'm going to go to the General category this is where you want to go through each category and make decisions for yourself. I recommend this, 1st tip, I want to turn off some alerts and increase the volume for some alerts. I recommend turning off the Sent Mail alert, Calendar Alerts, and certainly, I always recommend turning off the Keyboard Clicks. The Keyboard Clicks make a clicking sound every time you touch the iPad.

Go to Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. I highly recommend changing the Preview from 2 lines up to 5 lines. I'll show you what that means. Launch the Mail application and go to the Inbox where you can now see the first 5 lines of each email message rather than only 2 lines. That way you get a really good idea of what the email is.

Another good tip, going back to the Settings tab, is to turn on your Passcode Lock. Once you turn it on, you'll set the code. Enter the code that you want to use for your iPad, and now you're set. Now when I turn the iPad screen off, and press the button, the screensaver pops up, slide to unlock, and enter the Passcode.

And these are just a few basic tips. You see, it's easy it's a pretty intuitive device, like me, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Using YouTube on the iPad

This is Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some on how to watch YouTube on your iPad. The materials you'll need to get started will be an iPad, your finger or an iPad stylus, and an internet connection.

The 1st thing is to launch the program by touching the YouTube icon which comes preloaded on the iPad. A good tip is to take a look at all the videos. I like to look at the Featured Videos, the Top Rated, and the Most Viewed. And you can do that by All, This Week, or Today which is kind of cool. That's the way I like to get an idea of what's hot, what people are watching.

To watch a video, all you need to do is touch the video on the iPad screen, and the video comes up and all of the information about the video appears in the lower half of the iPad screen.

Another great tip is to turn the iPad sideways when you're watching things on YouTube. Now we can see it, and this video was obviously shot in the wide screen format. You can see that we're not using the top and bottom of the screen.

Another great tip is to double tap so the video takes up the entire screen. And those are the basics to get you started. So whether you're studying the evolution of dance or want Charlie to bite your finger, you're ready to go. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later-maybe on YouTube!"

Using the Apps Store on the iPad

The Apple iPad, awesome tool and incredible toy. But it's nothing until you load it up with apps. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some tips on how to use the Apps Store on your iPad. The materials you'll need to get started are an iPad, your finger or iPad stylus, and an internet connection.

We get started by launching the application, all we have to do is touch the App Store icon which comes preloaded with the unit and brings us directly to the Apps Store. A good tip is to become familiar with the different types of apps available. That's a lot of fun. Some of the featured apps are Frogger, a Myth Busters app, there's classic Pac Man and games. You can also scroll down to Top of the Charts to see what other people are buying. On the iPad, of course, the top 1, 2, and 3 are your productivity apps-Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. And because we already have those installed you can see these are marked so you don't accidentally buy them again. That's kind of a neat thing.

Another thing is to fill up your library with free applications. You can see in the Apps Store prices like $2.99 and $3.99, but if you hunt you can find apps that are free. Here's a good example, the BBC World News app. It's free, so touch the FREE button and read about the application. Hit the FREE button 1 more time and it will ask if you want to install this app. Then it immediately installs on the iPad. Filling your iPad with a lot of free apps is a good thing.

I can return to the Apps Store while the app is still loading. Another great tip for dealing with the App Store is making sure that your count is up to date. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, you'll see Account information. You can use a prepaid credit card to limit the amount of money you or your kids spend.

So it's just that easy to gain utilities, tools, and productivity-it just doesn't stop. But be careful, it doesn't become a real stressor on your bank account, believe me, I know.

Using Safari on the iPad

The iPad really gets to strut its stuff when it's on the internet. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some tips on using Safari on the new iPad. The materials you'll need are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus and an internet connection.

We want to launch Safari which comes preloaded, and here we are on the web. This is the Apple website, and guess what, the iPad is here. We can scroll through this web page as we were able to do before. We simply tap on things that we're interested in, and it will launch those pages. We also have the ability to to look at it in a different way.

Another great tip is that once you get to your website you can turn the unit to the side and you can see it in landscape orientation-it's using the real estate downwards instead of upwards. And again, just using our fingers, we can flick through the page.

Another great tip is to keep several web pages open at the same time. At the top of the screen tap on the multi-pages icon to see all of the web pages that are currently loaded on the iPad. You can go to a new web page too. Launch a new blank page and enter the URL of the page you want to go to. For example, enter ehow.com to go to that how-to website. Let's say we want to go back to a web page that's already loaded, such as apple.com. Again, just tap the multi-pages icon for a view of the loaded web pages, and just tap the apple.com page.

Another great tip is if you want to remember a website, use the history bar or bookmarks. Hit the plus bar and you'll get a choice to either add the page to Home Screen or email this link. We're going to add it to the Home Screen. By adding it to the Home Screen an icon is placed on one of the unit's Home Screens.

So you can see the interface is pretty intuitive. Head out there and surf the net and discover the world on the new Apple iPad. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "We'll stream you later!"

Mail on the iPad

The Apple iPad has a revolutionary new graphical interface for dealing, and sorting, and responding to mail. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert, and I'm going to show you some tips on using your email on the new iPad. The materials you'll need is an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus and an internet connection.

The 1st tip is to keep an eye on your mail icon which comes preinstalled. Notice the small white number with the red background. This tells you how many unread email messages are in your inbox. Launch the mail application. Go to your inbox, and you'll see the unread messages listed. Another tip is to keep your eye out for the blue dots. Blue dots tell us that we have not read those messages. Tap 1 of the unread messages to open that message, and the blue dot then disappears for that message in the inbox list.

Here's another great tip. When reading your mail, turn the iPad sideways. That's where it becomes a really neat tool because the inbox always displays in when the iPad is in the landscape orientation.

Another great tip is to move over to the Settings icon and go to Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Then turn the Fetch New Data setting to on, and set to Every 15 Minutes. That way we get up to date email notifications.

Those are the basics. Checking your email has never been simpler or easier on the new Apple iPad. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Photo Features on the iPad

Viewing, organizing, and sharing photos has never been easier than on the new Apple iPad. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert and I'm going to show you some tricks for organizing your photos on the iPad.

The materials we'll need to get started are and iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. Touch the little photo icon that looks like a sunflower to launch the Photo application. You can see 3 albums. Inside the albums, obviously, are several pictures. To look inside an album we grab it with our 2 fingers and spread it out. I spread it all the way out and opened it, and I can grab the bunch and put the album back. I can grab another album, take a peek and just put it back. And again I can just take a peek at another album. Again, a great tip is to just use your 2 fingers to take a peek at the photos contained in a photo album. Let's say we want to open a photo album.

Another great tip is to double click on your favorite photo. Now that the photo is on the screen, it can be manipulated in several different ways. Using your fingers, you can make it bigger, you can pinch to make it smaller, we can even rotate it and throw it back to it's place in the album. Let's return to the albums.

Another neat tip is that if your iPad is sitting vertically, and you have people over and what not, you can tap the slideshow button to show that album in a slideshow. You can play music, select the music, and begin the slideshow. And that's it-it couldn't be simpler. They just respond to your fingertips.

Using iPods With the iPad

Hey, it's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here. And I'm going to show you how to use iPod functions on the iPad. The materials we'll need to get started are: an iPad and your finger, or an iPad stylus. We'll get started using the iPod on the iPad, we're going to tap the iPod icon down here in the dock. Now, keep in mind that unlike the iPhone, the videos have their own application right over here as opposed to being part of the iPod So I'm going to go ahead and touch that to launch the application. Since we're recording this on the 1st day that it came out, within hours actually, we only have a few albums listed. In fact, only 1 album and a few songs.

A big tip is that while you're using it, while you're playing it, we are going to double tab the icon in the left pane. If you want to change the song, double tap it and it flips over, and we can go from 1 song to the next. We can choose one of the songs on the list, and if we tap the button in the lower right side of the iPad, the album cover appears again.

Another thing that you're going to want to do is tap the home button to go back to the home screen, tap the Settings icon, look for the iPod icon, and turn the EQ on in the right panel. Since the audio will be playing out of the speakers at the bottom of the iPad unit or your headphones, I always choose "small speakers."

So you can see that the iPod function works pretty much the same on the iPad as it does on any other Apple device. It's just somewhat more difficult to strap to your arm while you're running.

How to Use the Contacts Feature on the Apple iPad

Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert, and I'm going to show you some tips and tricks on how to use the Contacts feature on Apple's new iPad. Let's get started. Materials you'll need are an iPad and your finger, or an iPad stylus.

Using the Contacts is actually very familiar since it uses the same icon as the iPhone or the iPod Touch. Tap the icon to launch the program, and you'll see that it looks just like an address book. The 1st tip is to turn the iPad on its side, in landscape orientation to get the most out of it, to see all of the options.

Another tip, is that when you choose a contact, you can edit and share the contact. Tap on the Edit button and you'll see that you can add a lot of information to a contact including a photo.

You can share a contact by emailing it. Tap the share button and the email client and keyboard instantly launch. You can also share the entire contact list - it emails a .vcf file. When it's sent to another iPhone or iPad user, all the contacts will be entered instantly into their contacts when they receive the email message.

There you go, pretty easy right, a complete dossier on everybody you've ever known. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Video Features of the Apple iPad

It's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some tricks on watching videos and movies on the new Apple iPad. Materials we'll need to get started are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus.

For videos, tap the icon that looks like a clapboard. Launch the application. 1 helpful tip is to keep videos that will be helpful to you, like how-to videos. This video is here to help me learn to repair my Volkswagon Beetle. It is now easy to store how-to videos on the iPad where you need them.

Another tip is to tap the video while it's playing to get access to the video controls. You can then pause the video using these controls. The video will continue to play if the iPad is turned to the landscape orientation too. In the upper right hand corner there is a full screen button.

Here's perhaps the greatest tip of all, when the video is paused, if you drag your finger down the screen the video will progress more and more slowly until it's forwarding frame by frame. As your finger drags up on the screen, the faster you can progress through the video.

It couldn't be easier. Sit back and enjoy 9.7 diagonal inches of widescreen viewing pleasure on your new Apple iPad. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Using iTunes on the Apple iPad

iTunes and the iPad, they go hand in hand - like me, Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert. I'm going to show you some tips on using iTunes with the new iPad. The materials you'll need to get started an iPad, your finger or an iPad stylus, and an internet connection. To use iTunes on the iPad, just click the iTunes icon to launch the app. It is different from the iPod app. The information from iTunes goes into the iPod app, or the Video app, or the iBooks app although the Book app has its own protocol.

In iTunes you can go to different Genres, or choose something else at the bottom of the screen. We can watch different movie previews or listen to various clips from songs. We can review What's Hot now in movies or songs. Another great tip is to make sure that your account is up to date. Make sure that your account uses a pre-paid credit card, especially if anyone else has access to the account. This is a good way to control how much you spend on iTunes, because otherwise, it's like having an open credit card.

There are also TV Shows, Audio Books, and the iPod University sections available in the iTunes app. Another great thing is the Genius feature. Genius learns from previous purchases what you like, and it recommends movies, etc. that it thinks you'll enjoy. Renting movies is another great way to save money on iTunes. If you rent a movie, you have 24 hours to view the movie after you press Play, and you have a month after purchasing the movie rental before you have to begin watching it.

Like every other Apple device, iTunes becomes the protocol to load it up with cool stuff.

Accessibility for Apple iPad

Hard of hearing? Have a hard time seeing? Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some of the accessibility features built into Apple's new iPad. All right, let's get started. The materials we'll need are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. To get to the Accessibility press the Settings button, the General, and then down on the right, to Accessibility. Here you'll find very cool things for people who may have some disabilities. For the seeing impaired there are Voiceover features. Turn on Voiceover to hear the audio message asking if we are sure we want to use the Voiceover feature. Double tap the OK button to turn it on. Now anytime I select something on the iPad, it speaks the name of the item. The Speaking Rate can also be adjusted.

Another great Accessibility feature is for those who might be color blind. The color for the iPad can be turned out to basically turn it into a black and white display using only colors that color blind people can see.

For those who have a problem with sterio speakers monaural sound can be activated.

I like using the Zoom feature in the Accessibility section. If Zoom is turned on, then 3 fingers are used to double tap and to move the screen around.

So whether you're seeing impaired, hearing impaired, or just like things read to you, the Accessibility functions in the Apple iPad are both intuitive and powerful. Like me, Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, see you later.

Using the Calendar Feature on the Apple iPad

Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert. I'm going to show you some tips and tricks using the calendar function on Apple's new iPad. The materials we'll need are and iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. The 1st thing to notice about the Calendar is that today's date automatically updates right on the home screen. So at a quick glance you can quickly see what today's date is. Tap on the Calendar button to launch the app. The 2nd tip is to turn the iPad sideways (landscape orientation) so that the calendar looks like a real day planner. You can flip through it back and forth if you need to. You can see it by week, by month, or by list. At the bottom of the screen is a convenient bar to quickly jump to another day.

Use the Plus button in the lower right corner to add another event. Enter the name and location of the event, send an alert, and add notes. Press the done button and you're done.

Well, there it is, a complete calendar app with a graphical interface. What could be easier? Like me, Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later."

Using Maps on the Apple iPad

It's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here. I'm going to show you some tips on using the Maps function on the Apple iPad. The materials we'll need are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. To launch the app simply push the Maps button.

To find where you are on the map, push the button on the top to find your current location. Use the pull action to zoom in on your area, and pinch to zoom out. To change the view of the map, touch the page corner in the lower right hand corner. 1 of my favorite map views is the Hybrid view. And in this view you can see the super secret location of our video studio from the sky. Now change to the Terrain view. Since we are located in Florida there is no topography in this area.

The Traffic view/feature can be turned on to see if there are any traffic problems around.

You can get directions using this app by pushing that button in the upper left corner. But if you are using the WiFi only version of the iPad, the Maps app won't work since if works by streaming from the internet. But if you get directions while you are in a WiFi zone, you can take a screen shot of the iPad screen to view later when traveling out of a WiFi area. To take a screen shot quickly press the Power button and the Home button simultaneously and a picture of the screen / map will be saved to your Photo app.

And it's just that easy. Never get lost again with the Maps feature of the Apple iPad. This is Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later."

Using Spotlight Search on the Apple iPad

Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you how to do a Spotlight Search on the new iPad. All right, let's get started. The materials you'll need are an iPad and your finger or an iPad stylus. 1 of the great search engines ever for an internal device is something called Spotlight. And here's where it lives-it lives to the left of your desktop. And all it is is a keyboard and a place to start searching.

I'll show you another tip, if you're anywhere inside the unit, you can hit the home button twice to get to your Spotlight Search. The dots at the bottom of the home screens indicates how many home pages you have. We're going to start typing things in here. I'm just going to type a letter, the letter "B" and then the letter "A." Spotlight Search immediately searches email, contacts, calendars, books, applications, and the iPod. It's an incredible search of the entire system.

And again, it's only 2 clicks away. Do a search, tap 1 of the search results, and boom, you are taken directly to the item or app. Pretty simple right? If it's in the iPad, you'll find it with Spotlight Search. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Using Pages on the Apple iPad

Pages, Apple's powerful word processing program completely redesigned for the Apple iPad. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert, and I'm going to give you some tips and tricks on how to use it. The materials you'll need are an iPad, your finger or an iPad stylus, and the Pages App.

To get started using Pages, all you have to do is download it from the Apps Store and then you just tap the icon with an inkwell and a fountain pen. Another tip is that when you get started, you want to begin with a new document. Always, in my opinion, start off with a template, either 1 that you've created or 1 that Apple supplies with the Pages App.

For demonstration purposes, we're going to use the Poster template, which is an advanced document. After opening the template, you see that it has different photos. To change a photo, just tap it and a list of Photo Albums opens. You can then easily choose another image to replace the picture that came with the template. To enlarge, move or crop the picture just double tap it.

To change the text is easy. Just tap the text that you want to modify and enter new text. You can also change the text orientation and the font. Words that appear with an underline is misspelled.

So there it is, a powerful word processing program on the go. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later."

Using Numbers on the Apple iPad

Numbers, Apple's state-of-the-art spreadsheet program has been completely redesigned for use on Apple's iPad. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, and I'm going to show you some tips on using Numbers on the iPad.

The materials you'll need are an iPad, your finger of iPad stylus, and the Numbers application. To get started with Numbers, all you have to do is tap the icon that looks like a 3-dimension bar graph, to launch the program.

I always recommend starting with a new spreadsheet that is a template. Anytime you can begin a project with most of the work done for you, you're in great shape. Open the Travel Planner template, and you can easily swap the placeholder photo with a photo from your Photo Albums. You can quickly and easily move objects on the spreadsheet.

Make it a habit to tap the "i" icon at the top of the application if there is 1 available to make changes and swap elements on the page. In this case, the "i" icon provides effects that can be applied to the image. And you can always back out of any changes you don't like by hitting the Undo button.

Enjoy Numbers, it's portable, powerful, and intuitive-like me, Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"

Using Keynote on the Apple iPad

Keynote, Apple's version of PowerPoint, completely redesigned from the ground up to work on the new iPad, and I'm going to show you some tips and tricks on how to use it. I'm Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert.

The materials you'll need are and iPad, your finger or and iPad stylus, and the Keynote app.

After purchasing Keynote from the Apps Store, we've launched the program. The 1st important tip is to turn the iPad sideways because it doesn't work in vertical orientation. Another tip is to tap on "New Presentation." Unless you're really good at using Keynote, using 1 of the pre made templates is awesome. I'm going to use the Renaissance template. After opening the template, we can change just about anything. It comes with some placeholders, but it's simple to change photos. Just tap on the small icon on any picture to choose any image from the photo albums on your iPad. I like to migrate any photos I need for a project into its own photo album. After inserting a picture I'm able to resize it and move it within the document. To add text tap on the placeholder text so that the virtual keyboard appears and enter new text. It's easy to add a 2nd photo and apply cool effects to it.

Additional slides can be added to your presentation, and it's easy to play it as a slideshow for a sales presentation.

Keynote is an awesome and powerful tool. Whether you're working on it at a Starbucks or you're sitting face to face and using it as a presentation tool, Keynote is an incredible product-like me, Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert saying, "Stream you later!"
